Garfield County Community Corrections is a program intended to provide an alternative sentencing option to the courts for non-violent offenders.
Correctional programs
The Garfield County Department of Community Corrections has been providing non-residential service since 1982. In recent years, the program has expanded from a single purpose useful public service provider into providing a multitude of correctional programs. These have included, but are not limited to: monitoring domestic violence offender treatment compliance, overseeing personal recognizance bond issuance, performing pre-trial supervision, providing restitution services, supervising inmate work crews, and providing day reporting, electronic home monitoring, and ISP services for Division of Parole.

The mission of Garfield County Criminal Justice Services is to enhance public safety by providing quality pre and post conviction services that benefit the citizens of Garifeld County and the 9th Judicial District. Through the use of innovation and staff initative Criminal Justice Services provides a range of programs to support the criminal justice sytem while providing the highest quality service and programming available.
